The master's thesis can be taken individually or in groups. During the first semester, you are required to present a report in which you outline your specialization project that will be the focus of your thesis. 

Topics can be, but are not limited to:

• use of technology in musical interaction
• music production
• music and/or sound for video games
• electroacoustic composition
• digital musical instrument design
• controllers for music performance
• analysis and synthesis of sound
• pedagogical applications of music technology in teaching and education

Depending on the topic and type of project, the form of the final examination can be:

• a concert
• music production
• an art installation
• software
• a digital instrument

The artistic or practical work will typically be accompanied by a written thesis.
