Exercise Physiology

Master's degree programme, 2 years

Exercise Physiology

– Study Environment

The master's programme is entirely carried out at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The MSc students have their own working place with web access in a friendly environment. The students also have access to most relevant literature and research journals. The research programme has a close co-operation with St. Olav University Hospital. The Exercise Physiology laboratory is located in the same building as the working environment. There is a close relationship to the Medicine students, including a joint cantina and social activities.

The first semester is primarily based on theory and lectures. From second semester most attention is directed towards preparing for carrying out an experiment representing work at the forefront of the research in Exercise Physiology in close cooperation with the professors in the research group. The quality of research is high, and the research project is expected to contain data of a quality that makes international publication possible.
