Dahal-Koirala is a Postdoctoral fellow at K.G. Jebsen Coeliac Disease Research Centre (J CoDiRC). Her previous work has dealt with the T-cell receptor recognition of peptide-MHC complexes that are relevant to coeliac disease – work that has resulted in several high profiled papers. Currently, her research focuses on exploring the diagnostic potential of sequencing T-cell receptors directly from peripheral blood.

Project involvement

Dahal-Koirala currently works in the research group of Ludvig Sollid where she leads a research project that aims to develop a diagnostic test for coeliac disease based on detection of gluten specific T-cell receptor sequences directly from blood samples. This project involves several members of the Sollid group and Sandve group at J CoDiRC as well as Associate professor Eivind-Ness Jensen at the K.G. Jebsen Center for Genetic Epidemiology.
