Louise Fremgaard Risnes

Fremgaard Risnes is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the KG Jebsen Coeliac Disease Research Centre (J CoDiRC). She is an immunologist who has made ground-breaking discoveries on gluten-specific CD4+ T cells in coeliac disease revealing their phenotype, compartment distribution and longevity. Her current research focuses on the role of these T-cells early in disease development.
