The workshop will take place at Clarion hotel & Congress, with a good communication from and to the airport (busses every 10 min and taxi). The hotel is also next to the railway station.
How to book your rooms at special CSI rates
With a population of 193,000, Trondheim is not a big city on a European scale. However, it is the third largest in Norway. Trondheim has a number of sights that each year are among the most visited in the region. The Nidarosdomen cathedral is an impressive sight. The cathedral is the national sanctuary of Norway, built over the grave of St. Olav. Work began in 1070, but the oldest parts still in existence date from the middle of the 12th century. Enjoy a special concert in the Nidaros Cathedral for CSI attendants on Tuesday 19th of June.
Trondheim is rather north (latitude 63 degrees), but it is easily accessible via air and has an international airport. There are daily direct flights from Amsterdam and Copenhagen to Trondheim Airport Værnes, in addition to a number of other European cities. Also, you can connect in Oslo which has about 25 flights each day to Trondheim. For updated information about flights and airport shuttle services (every 10 minutes), please see AviNor's webpage.
