Siri Fløgstad Svensson
Dr. Siri Fløgstad Svensson is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physics and Computational Radiology at Oslo University Hospital and a member of the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Brain Fluid Research at the University of Oslo. She holds a master’s degree in particle physics from the University of Bergen and specializes in advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain.
In 2023, Dr. Svensson defended her PhD thesis on MR Elastography of the brain, where she investigated the biomechanical properties of the brain in both healthy individuals and patients with glioblastoma. Her research at the K.G. Jebsen Centre uses innovative MRI techniques to study the cerebrospinal fluid system of the brain, with the goal of advancing personalized treatment for brain cancer and deepening our knowledge of the brain's clearance system.
