About SUBPRO-Zero
The SUBPRO-Zero Centre will conduct research that will contribute to net-zero emissions for the offshore industry, both direct emissions from the industry's owned or controlled sources (Scope 1) and indirect emissions that occur in the industry's value chain (Scope 3)
The Centre will build on the success of the existing SFI SUBPRO Centre, by:
- Building up on the skills, competence and knowledge that is gained in SFI SUBPRO and use them in existing and new areas.
- Expanding the scope to also cover carbon capture and production of blue hydrogen (and ammonia).
- Keeping, maintaining and expanding the academic and industrial network of SFI SUBPRO.
Goals
The goals of the centre are to:
- Conduct research that makes a difference and contribute to a sustainable future
- Work together with the industry partners to come up with new and innovative solutions that will contribute to net-zero emissions from the offshore industry
- Educate PhD candidates, Postdocs and master students who can help the industry speed up the energy transistion and contribute to the green shift
