ECCM22 is organized by the Laboratory of Advanced & Sustainable Engineering Materials (ASEMlab) at the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (NTNU). As Europe’s leading conference in composite materials and structures, ECCM is a premier platform for advancing research, fostering innovation, and strengthening collaboration across academia and industry.
The 2026 edition will spotlight sustainability, disruptive technologies, and emerging applications in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, maritime, infrastructure, and sports. Both established and frontier topics will be featured, with key themes including green and sustainable materials, recycling and repair technologies, advanced modelling and composite mechanics, digital innovations and AI-assisted technologies, process monitoring and quality control, innovative characterization methods, functional materials, novel sensors, etc.
