HUNT Genes IP
HUNT Genes IP: Industry Supported Programs for Innovation in Genomics
HUNT Genes IP aims to establish an infrastructure and knowledge for responsible academia-industry collaboration on population health data, in line with HUNT’s research permits and consent frameworks. By hosting and joining cutting-edge research and industry expertise, we seek to accelerate the translation of science to significantly impact human health and well-being.
The pilot is funded by the Research Council of Norway and explores how genetic and health data from the HUNT Study can be used in collaboration with industry partners. We are developing and testing a federated model where external partners can commission specific analyses to be carried out by NTNU-based researchers, without getting access to individual-level data.
For researchers and potential collaborators
We are currently developing this model with a small number of partners. If you are interested in learning more about HUNT Genes IP, or would like to discuss potential collaboration, please contact Signe Elisabeth Åsberg: signe.asberg@ntnu.no
