Adverb fra adjektiv

Adverbs describing an action often take a form equal to the neuter form of the adjective. These forms can be compared with the –ly forms in English (nicely, loudly, peacefully etc.)

Universitetene i Norge

Norge har åtte universiteter. Universitetene ligger i Trondheim, Oslo, Bergen, Tromsø, Bodø, Stavanger, Ås og Agder.

Universitetet i Oslo er det største og eldste universitetet. Det ble grunnlagt i 1811.

Universitetet i Trondheim heter Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU). Det er det nest største universitetet i Norge. NTNU har cirka 23 000 studenter og 5 000 ansatte. 3 000 av disse jobber innen undervisning og forskning. Det er sju fakulteter og 49 forskjellige institutter ved NTNU.

En bachelorgrad tar tre år, og en mastergrad tar to år. Etter mastergraden kan man ta en doktorgrad (ph.d.). Det tar tre år.

The university in Trondheim is called The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). It is the second largest university in Norway. NTNU has around 23 000 students and 5 000 employees. 3 000 of them work within teaching and research. There are seven faculties and 49 different departments at NTNU.

A bachelor degree takes three years, and a master's degree takes two years. After the master's, one can take a ph.d. That takes three years.
