The CA²RE 2020 conference will take place in Trondheim at Innherredsveien 7, at the NTNU Art Academy, KiT. It is located in the city center and the nearest bus stop is called Solsiden, right in front of the building.

For the conference you have to make reservations for accommodation on your own, either at one of the many hotels/hostels or through private accommodation. 

Private accommodation
There are several possibilities available through one of the major private accommodation providers (AirBnB or similar). We would recommend choosing a location close (< 2.0 kilometer) to the city center. If you decide on a location further than walking distance from the venue be sure to check the nearest bus stop, routes and time table at www.atb.no/en

Hotel/hostels
Most of the hotels and hostels in Trondheim are situated in or near the city center and varies in both standard and pricing, but the standard is overall at a high level. Be aware that there are a couple of hotels situated a bit outside of the city (more than 3.0 km), so be sure to check this when you make your reservation. If you consider a venue outside of the city or far from the conference check www.atb.no/en for the nearest bus stop, routes and time tables (Closest bus stop to the conference is “Solsiden”)
 
Trondheim Vandrerhjem is the preferred accommodation for the conference, where we have reserved some rooms for PhD-students. See information below.

For the CA²RE conference in Trondheim 2020 we have reserved 20 single/double rooms for attending Phd-students. The rooms can be booked directly from Trondheim Vandrerhjem by mail, using the reference “CA²RE 2020”. 
Each room is reserved from Wednesday 25.03.20 till Monday 30.03.20 for a total price of 3200 NOK (Approx. 320 €) per room for the whole period (64 €/night).
It is therewith possible for the attendees to go together and use the reserved room as a double for the same total of 3200 NOK. This must be organized individually.

The train company is called Vy. Train connection from Trondheim Airport (Trondheim Lufthavn) to city center approximately once every hour. Follow signs “Tog / Trains” to platform.
Tickets are bought beforehand online at www.vy.no/en or on board (extra on-board fee will apply).
