The Centre for Conservation Biology (CCB) was established by the Rector January 2008 as a cross-disciplinary research centre involving reseachers from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering and Museum of Natural History and Archaeology as well as researchers at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA).
