NORDAB PhD Workshop at the ØA Conference 2026

NORDAB will organize a PhD workshop as part of the ØA Conference at NHH in Bergen on 21–22 April 2026. The conference theme is The relevance of Economic-Administrative disciplines in meeting with AI. NORDAB will arrange separate sessions for PhD candidates.

PhD students from our member institutions are invited to present a working paper or early-stage manuscript, receive feedback, and meet peers from other institutions. The workshop is open to all fields within business science. NORDAB will cover travel, accommodation, and conference fees for PhD candidates presenting their work.

Read more about the workshop here.

Completed PhD Course: Topics in Real Estate Valuation and Sustainability

In October, NTNU Business School delivered the NORDAB-supported course Topics in Real Estate Valuation and Sustainability. The course offered an introduction to key research areas within real estate valuation, including sustainability factors such as climate risk, energy efficiency, and regulation.

Lectures were given by:

  • Professor Dr. Roland Fuss, University of St. Gallen
  • Professor Dr. Dirk Brounen, Maastricht University

Participants worked with empirical methods, current literature, and early research ideas through paper or project proposals.

Annual Meeting Completed

NORDAB has completed its annual meeting for 2025. The board reviewed ongoing activities, approved initiatives for 2025–2026, and discussed long-term priorities for doctoral education at member institutions.

Reminder: Open Call for Activities

NORDAB welcomes applications for support for international PhD courses, seminars, and workshops. Proposed activities should contribute to strengthening doctoral education in the economic-administrative disciplines.
Information about eligibility and criteria is available on the NORDAB website.
