NORDAB Newsletter - New PhD Course

NORDAB is pleased to announce a new course for PhD students this fall. BFIN 8001: Topics in Real Estate Valuation and Sustainability will take place in Trondheim and offers participants the opportunity to engage with leading international scholars while presenting their own research. Details and application instructions are provided below.
BFIN 8001: Topics in Real Estate Valuation and Sustainability
The course will be held in Trondheim from Monday, October 13, to Thursday, October 16. Lectures will be delivered by:
- Professor Dirk Brounen, School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University
- Professor Roland Fuss, Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance, University of St. Gallen
The course is exclusively open to PhD students, with a maximum of 12 participants. Accepted participants are required to attend the NTNU Business School Conference on October 15 and 16, where they will present their research proposals or papers related to course topics and receive feedback.
How to Apply
To apply, please send an email confirming your PhD status along with a brief description of your research topic to:

Admission decisions will be communicated by September 1.
Participants accepted into the course must submit their research proposal or draft paper to jon.o.olaussen@ntnu.no no later than September 22.
Costs and Funding
Participation in the course and the conference is free of charge, as expenses are covered by funding from NORDAB. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
