With support from the Norwegian Research Council and Equinor, SINTEF and NTNU have established the OceanLab laboratories in Mid-Norway for full-scale testing and research in the ocean environment to meet future requirements for education, research, and innovation in the marine and maritime sectors.

The infrastructure is available for collaborating partners from academia, research organizations and industry. 

The OceanLab infrastructure will be an integrated part of Fjordlab in the future Norwegian Ocean Technology Centre (Norsk havteknologisenter).
