Norwegian Open AI Lab
The Norwegian Open Artificial Intelligence Lab (NAIL) is a hub for research, education and innovation within AI.
The center is hosted by the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at NTNU in Trondheim. NAIL engages in a variety of research and innovation activities, with several ongoing projects and a strong team of AI researchers.
Moreover, we work to disseminate knowledge about AI to a diverse audience, by organising events and activities. Aiming to develop strong partnerships between academia, students, businesses and public sector organisations, we welcome Norwegian companies and organisations to join us as partners.

SFI NorwAI
NorwAI is a Center for Research-based Innovation (SFI) hosted at NTNU and financed by NFR (2020-2028). It is the largest academic initiative on AI innovation in Norway. Several of the researchers in NorwAI are also affiliated with NAIL and several partners contribute to both initiatives. Read more about NorwAI on their website here.
