About
The Centre for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS) is a partnership and a national centre for research, training, and education established by key private and public stakeholders in industry, academia, privacy, and security.
CCIS was officially opened on 15 August 2014.
Our Goals
We aim to:
- Increase our national capacity to meet long-term security challanges in a digital world
- Develop competence in Norwegian agencies, companies, and academia
- Be a professional support for our government in international discussions and commitments
- Establish a forum for efficient knowledge exchange between companies, agencies and sectors, and between excellence in research and application environments
- Become a knowledge and expertise node in Europe
