As well as research projects, Colourlab is involved in several educational projects, or a combination of these two. The aim of the educational projects is to strengthen the cooperation with our international partner universities or industry partners, providing our students and staff prospects of an international career, and increase the quality of our education as well as research.

The funding of our educational projects come from the EU funded programmes Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus and the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir).  Some of the projects, e.g., CapsNetwork, are projects combining research and education and are funded by both HK-dir and the Research Council of Norway.

Some of the activities funded in the education projects are:

  • Student and staff mobility
  • Student scholarships
  • Capacity building
  • Curriculum development
  • Study programme development
  • Summer schools
  • Joint supervision

In total, our educational projects cover education on all three levels: bachelor, master and PhD.
