Aude Pommeret
Aude Pommeret is a Full Professor of Economics at the University Savoie Mont Blanc. She is also scientific advisor at France Stratégie (French Prime Minister services). Her research focuses mainly on environmental and energy economics. She has recently studied the energy transition, with an emphasis on the intermittency of renewable energies, the use of critical materials and their recycling, the right to development of developing countries, the financing of the transition and the consequences of transition risk. She is now also interested in the economic analysis of biodiversity.
She holds a PhD from University Paris 1-Sorbonne and she previously has been Assistant Professor at HEC Lausanne and Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong. She is also a member of the Committee of Experts on Socio-Economic Analysis, which sets the discount rate to be used in evaluating public investment in France, the Board of the Mathematics Institute for Planet Earth, the Steering Committee of the TSE Centre for Climate and Energy and the National Commission for the Evaluation of research on radioactive wastes. She is associate editor of the European Economic Review and co-editor of Resource and Energy Economics. She is also head of the European Master in Business and Management running in four countries (France, Italy, Germany and Spain).
