Hydrogen and Ammonia
Creating hydrogen and e-fuel markets
Low-carbon hydrogen is seen by many as the future climate-friendly fuel. Yet, a market for hydrogen as energy carrier is still to be created, both within European countries and in an international import market. In this workshop, we want to discuss latest research results and various perspectives on the future sources of the low-carbon hydrogen and the regulation that might help to create a hydrogen market. To this end, the workshop is organized in three main sessions:
- Regulatory challenges for creating hydrogen markets” (e.g., gas infrastructure repurposing and its regulation, interaction with gas and electricity regulation)
- Where is the energy for H2 coming from in Europe?
- Where are H2 and e-fuel imports coming from?
Speakers and panel discussants: Confirmed international speakers will discuss up-to-date research, developments, and challenges on hydrogen uptake.
