Industrial Decarbonization in Regions
Industrial decarbonization in regions
The purpose of this workshop is to engage industry actors and policy-makers in identifying and prioritizing the most critical factors influencing the decarbonisation of Norwegian process industries. A key focus is the interplay between industrial decarbonisation and the regional energy system in Norway. Through collaborative discussions and interactive ranking exercises, we aim to build a shared understanding of opportunities, barriers, and concrete actions needed to accelerate the transition.
The workshop is hosted by the research projects RESPOND2030 and REGEL.
Introduction
Norway’s process industries are at a crossroads in the journey toward decarbonisation, creating significant changes in—and placing major requirements on—the energy system. This workshop invites stakeholders to collectively identify the most important drivers, challenges, and enablers shaping this transition. Your insights will help inform actionable recommendations for decision-makers and guide future strategies.
