Morten Halleraker
1 September 2023, Morten Halleraker took on the role as Senior vice president and head of Equinor’s New Business and Investments in the business area Technology, Digitalisation and Innovation. Before joining Equinor, Halleraker has more than 20 years’ experience from executive roles in Hydro within strategy, finance, operations and plant management, and business development both internationally and out of Norway. Since 2020 Halleraker held the position as managing director for Hydro Energi Invest AS, heading up Hydro Batteries. This has also included overseeing Hydro’s investments in other technology companies and start-ups such as Corvus Energy, Hydrovolt and Vianode. Halleraker holds a master’s degree in international economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
