Sverre Alvik

Sverre Alvik is Vice president and Director for DNV’s Energy Transition Outlook. He is educated Naval Architect from NTNU in Norway in 1997 and has more than 25 years’ experience from various roles in DNV, working with the energy and maritime industry. 
The last ten years Sverre has been heading up DNV’s global research work on the energy transition. In that capacity he is responsible for the global and regional research on the technologies, economies, and policies of the energy transition, and has extensive engagement with governments, industry companies and bodies, and universities and research institutes. Sverre is also an active communicator with papers and presentations at various industry conferences.
