Yuliia Kovaliv

Yuliia Kovaliv is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Emergy. She previously served as Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada from 2022 to 2024.

Before her diplomatic role, Kovaliv served as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, working on economic policy and coordination with international financial institutions. She was also First Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, where she worked on investment policy, privatization, and corporate governance reforms for state-owned enterprises.

Kovaliv has also served as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine and as a Commissioner at the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
