Getting around in Trondheim

Trondheim is not a very large city, so getting around is fairly easy. Most places are within walking distance if you are dressed according to the weather conditions. Getting around by bus is also a great option.

How to get to the venue

From Scandic Lerkendal

Walking is probably the easiest way to get to the NORDISCO venue from Scandic Lerkendal.

Walking:

Distance: approx 1km, 13-20 minutes depending on chosen route. Mostly flat.

By Bus:

We recommend that you use the AtB app for planning this trip as it involves switching buses and two alternative routes. The closest bus stop is Lerkendal.

From Scandic Bakklandet

Walking:

A scenic walk through Bakklandet, passing the "Old City Bridge"/Gamle Bybro. Distance: approx 2,2 km, 32 minutes, some uphill

By Bus

Bus stop: Bakkegata (southbound/opposite side of the street from Scandic Bakklandet) Get on AtB line 22. Stay on the bus for six stops and get off at Gløshaugen. The Gløshaugen bus stop is approx. 50 meters away from the venue.

Comfort Hotel Park

Walking:

Crossing the Elgeseter bridge with a great view of the Nidaros Cathedral and walking through campus. Some uphill.

Distance: Approx. 1,6 km, 24 minutes, some uphill.

By bus

Bus stop: Nidarosdomen (southbound/same side of the street as Comfort Park Hotel)

Get on AtB line 3 or 22. Stay on the bus for three stops and get off at Gløshaugen. The Gløshaugen bus stop is approx. 50 meters away from the venue.
