Green Money, Real Impact? Investor Roles in the Energy Transition

Green Money, Real Impact? Investor Roles in the Energy Transition

This workshop explores the real-world influence of early-stage investors on green start-ups, including the provision of financial capital but with a special focus on the sustainability outcomes of portfolio companies. Featuring current research from NTNU and NTRANS, as well as insights from investors and entrepreneurs, we examine how investment decisions, post-investment involvement, and impact assessment tools shape the energy transition. Are green investors truly driving environmental innovation, or are they following a trend? Join us to discuss the alignment between investor motives and actions, and help co-create a more transparent and effective sustainable finance ecosystem.
