Gjøvik Library has a wide selection of printed and digital sources within the health sciences, technology, the natural sciences, media technology, information science, etc. The majority of our collections is electronic, for instance articles, e-books and encyclopedia.
Use the subject blogs in your field for information about databases, important e-resources, relevant courses and news.
Collections in the library
The library is on the 2nd floor (US) / 1st floor (UK) in G-bygget. You can find printed books and journals, encyclopedia and films. Media students have access to media equipment.
Published BA, MA and PhD theses can be found in our institutional archive, NTNU Open Gjøvik.
NTNU Gjøvik has a license for the image database Colourbox. Students and employees can download up to 30 images per month for use in non-commerical assignments, projects, lectures, websites, etc. You need a key to activate your licence. Cards with the printed licence key can be found in the library.
Syllabus literature and useful resources
Gjøvik Library has one or more copies of most of the books on the syllabus. These are on a separate shelf by the service desk can be borrowed for 1 week. The useful resources can be found in our collections but is tagged with green tape. The loan period is 1 week.
