We work with establishing PhD programmes at the Busitema University in Uganda.

PhD programmes relevant for UNET

UBU has a few highly qualified and experienced staff with background of energy at PhD and MSc level, however no organised PhD programmes within energy technology exist. UBU identifies the need to increase its capacity for research and innovation in these areas through the future development of PhD programmes. Support under CBHE action will be an important step to initiate regional collaboration in a University Network on access to specialized laboratories and a Joint Course Catalogue.

UBU will follow the project and take part in all events. The aim is take advantage of the project for capacity development activities mainly in terms of staff and PhD student training. Experiences from the project will also be a valuable base for later development at Busitema towards doctoral programs
