We work with establishing PhD programmes and training facilities at the University of Dodoma in Tanzania.

Educational programmes relevant for UNET

UDOM offers various Bachelors (undergraduate) degree programs and a few Master programs. So far, UDOM staff members is mainly composed of holders of Master’s degree and therefore participation in PhD capacity building programmes provides good opportunity for future developments. 

The role of the University of Dodoma will be limited. As we do not have post graduate programs our role will be as Training Partner. However, the University of Dodoma regards participation in UNET as a very important step in our capacity building, and our participation in the joint events will be given high priority, in particular the Training Events. Access to specialised experimental facilities will also be a motivating factor for our staff on a PhD track.
