Hydraulic Laboratory

The objective for this work package is to develop a hydraulic laboratory with an infrastructure and instrumentation suited for the hydropower industry and to investigate and solve future societal water related challenges.'

Description of work:

This work package will coordinate the procurement, refurbishment and installation of new equipment in the Hydraulic Laboratory and the Geology facility.

Task 2.1    Planning and installation of flumes. NTNU (lead), NINA (advisor)

Task 2.2    Acquiring equipment for hydraulic measurement and model construction. NTNU (lead)

Task 2.3    New water circulation system in the Hydraulic Lab. NTNU (lead), NINA (advisor)

Task 2.4    Planning and installation of VR lab. NTNU (lead)

Task 2.5    Planning and upgrading of field laboratory. NTNU (lead)

Task 2.6    Planning and installation of new test rigs for dry drilling a fracturing. NTNU (lead)

Task 2.7    Planning and installation of new experimental equipment for stability surveying and strain        measurements in rocks . NTNU (lead)
