EEM 2026 – 22nd International Conference on the European Energy Market | NTNU Trondheim
The International Conference on the European Energy Market (EEM) every year arranges a unique meeting place to present and discuss the most recent developments in energy markets. For over 20 years, EEM has brought together experts from academia, industry, and policy to discuss cutting-edge topics including among others energy modelling, market design, regulatory policies, climate change, technological innovations, energy storage, the hydrogen economy, and energy citizenship.
We are proud and pleased to welcome you to EEM26 in Trondheim, Norway, on 22–24 June 2026 for the 22nd edition of this prestigious event.
EEM26 is organized by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), SINTEF Energy Research, and the IEEE PES Norway Chapter, under the auspices of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.

Paper Presentation
Accepted papers for EEM26 must be presented in person during the conference either by oral presentation or poster.
- If your paper is presented as oral presentation, the time for each paper should not exceed 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion/questions. You may use the EEM26 presentation template or your own templates.
- If your paper was selected to be presented as a poster, your presentation will take place in the afternoon poster sessions (during which coffee is available). You may use the EEM26 poster template or your own templates. We are unfortunately unable to provide on-site poster printing.
