Tore O. Sandvik

Tore O. Sandvik was appointed Minister of Defence on 4 February 2025.

Sandvik served as Minister for Climate and Environment during the period when Andreas Bjelland Eriksen was on parental leave, from September to December 2024.

Tore O. Sandvik has also held the position of State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries from 2023 to 2024, and State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade and Industry from 2000 to 2001.

He was previously the County Mayor of Sør-Trøndelag and Trøndelag from 2003 to 2023.
