Green Chemistry of Advanced Materials - GreenCAM
GreenCAM
Cooperation and partnership strategy between University of Bucharest, Romania and Norwegian University of Science and Technology
– for the enhancement of the education quality of strategic master Chemistry of Advanced Materials in line with Green Chemistry requirements.
The GreenCAM project will be achieved by implementing the principles of Green Chemistry in the strategy of the preparation and application of Advanced Materials. The scientific community has focused its research forces on the implementation of Green Chemistry in the preparative chemistry area. Importing this new chemical strategy in education field is still a pioneering action. The GreenCAM project is a “student centered education” project which involves a sustained support from the teaching staff as a function of the student needs, cohesion and continuous collaboration between students and teachers and a certain synergism between the involved partners in terms of professional conduct, professional honesty and transparency.
The intellectual outputs in this project are also important part of the innovation strategy. Improved curricula of Chemistry of Advanced Materials master study will combine the traditional chemistry for advanced materials with the friendly and useful green chemistry; proposed electronic supports of the improved courses dedicated will contain top information; e-book including the master theses with double supervision (NTNU-UB), proceedings of the Intensive study programme, special issue of the proposed workshop (multiple event) "Contemporary solutions for advanced materials with high impact on society" and the scientific papers published in ISI journals will be based on original and innovative scientific results and knowledge belonging to the GreenCAM project.
