NTNU CCIS and SFI NORCICS Joint Conference 2026
Digital Sovereignty, Cybersecurity, Dual-use and Competitiveness
This year's NTNU CCIS and SFI NORCICS Joint Conference will highlight the opportunities emerging at the intersection of research and innovation on cybersecurity and digital sovereignty, and their implications on dual-use and competitiveness. Europe’s and Norway’s ability to maintain control over their own digital resources, protect critical infrastructure and develop the technologies of the future is crucial to economic growth, security and societal development.
Regulatory changes are contributing to a new digital reality for Norwegian businesses, bringing not only constraints but also new opportunities.
Through inspiring presentations, discussions and practical examples,
Day 1, November 17th, will explore:
- How digital sovereignty affects businesses, the public sector and societal security.
- Europe’s strategic initiatives and priorities.
- The opportunities that arise when technology, security and innovation are more closely integrated.
- How organizations can build competitive advantage through trust, collaboration and technological expertise.
- The role Norwegian stakeholders can play in shaping the digital Europe of the future.
Day 2, November 18th, will focus on:
- The implications of the EU Cyber Resilience Act for the Norwegian industry.
- How we prepare for establishing an ecosystem for collaboration on cybersecurity for dual use.
