We decided to split the ORAHS participants into small groups to explore the Trondheim Fjord and the Nid river via speed boats and fishing boats. For those people who will take boat trips after lunch, we have access to sauna, people can swim in the fjord and nearby beaches, there is a very nice hike nearby and fishing points for those interested.

The schedule for the day is provided below. The groups will be decided at HAVET so please arrive promptly at 09:45. We will have a BBQ lunch at HAVET altogether.

There will be the possibility to purchase additional drinks and food throughout the day, as well as kayaking equipment.

HAVET has a large outdoor terrace, and we hope the weather is favourable so we can sit outside, but if not there's capacity inside for everyone. Even though we would like the weather to be fantastic please bring layers and a waterproof jacket.

Munkholmen (Monk’s islet) is the name of a small island just outside the city of Trondheim. The island holds a rich history, being a former execution ground, monastery, prison, fortress and defence station during World War II. Today the island is a popular hangout site and bathing spot both for locals and tourists in summer time.
