Under Dusken

Our insect hotels and bird houses caught the attention of journalists from Under Dusken in March 2024, right before spring arrived. The piece discusses how students can involve themselves in "rewilding" efforts and the insect hotel research by Sondre from NINA. The insect hotels were made by architecture students as an exam project in the fall of 2023!

NRK Podcast
A radio interview by NRK (Norwegian Broadcast Corporation) was conducted by the PhD-candidate Jørgen Søraker, an expert in bird identifications through bird songs. He was out identifying species in the park in June in 2023 - listen in!

Universitetsavisa
The university-oriented paper Universitetsavisa created a reportage about the newly established pond and garden. Several of the group leaders were interviewed and stated to create "new life in Høgskoleparken" (Norwegian: "biologar lagar nytt liv i Høgskoleparken").

Under Dusken
The student paper covered our last recruitment meeting at Gløshaugen campus in November 2023, and covered some of our prospects for 2024. Students, employees, park users and neighbours were invited to join, as the meeting was open to anyone!
