The Architecture and Civil Engineering Library has a large collection of printed books, reference works and journals on subjects including architecture, property management, physical planning, civil and environmental engineering and industrial design. Books that are in the library (not on loan or reserved) must be picked from the shelf by the borrower. Collections that have been moved to the archives can be ordered via Oria. Papers

Print issues of the daily newspaper Adresseavisen are available at the library, and you have access to digital newspapers from all over the world via our network. We also have a small cuttings archive, now discontinued, with cuttings from publications including Adresseavisen.

DVD collection

The DVD collection focuses on architecture and planning, but also includes more general films and series.

Master’s theses in architecture

All master’s and diploma theses and preliminary work in architecture are available on one-day loan on CD, including those that are not available in NTNU Open. Ask for them at the service desk.

Printed theses and preliminary work are also available in the library, sorted by year.

Design icon chairs

Centrally located in the library is a permanent exhibition of design icon chairs in miniature.
