Group rooms and study spaces

We have 300 varied  study spaces; 12 group rooms and several workspaces with and without a PC. The group rooms are equipped with a monitor to which you may connect your own PC.

Visit KUBA for exploration and study of anatomy through models, books and our digital anatomy atlas on a large touch screen (photo above). Contact us if you want to book the area for workshops, guidance or teaching.

Kuba – A study space for anatomy

Kuba provides different ways of learning anatomy. Traditional resources like books, atlases and reference books are available, but you will also find anatomical models, anatomical plates and even anatomical jigsaws. And in the center of Kuba you will find a huge touch screen with our interactive 3D anatomy resource, Visible Body.

Kuba is an open and informal study space – a room where everyone can explore, test and rehearse. If you need to book the Kuba area for teaching, problem bases groups, demonstrations etc., contact us at post@bmh.ntnu.no.

PC, printing and wireless

The library has many PCs available to students and staff. Three PCs are guest PCs that do not require login. A printer (ntnuprint-ricoh) with copy and scanning functions is located on the 2nd Floor. It can be accessed by swiping your NTNU-card over the card reader or by manually logging in with your Feide username and password.

Students and staff can connect to NTNU's wireless network (Eduroam). With VPN you can access academic resources from home.

More information about printing at our library

St.Olavs staff

Employees and students in practice at St. Olavs Hospital can use the PCs on the 2nd floor in the East wing to access Kilden and software from St. Olavs. As on any other St Olavs PC print jobs can be sent to "Dynamic Print" and retrieved at a St Olavs printer.

Optionally they can get a one-time username and password at the service desk by showing their staff ID card. This provides access to a PC connected to the NTNU network for 24 hours. Note that this does not provide access to a personal area or Kilden.

For general Internet access, other visitors can use the guest network of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority (GjestenettHMN).
