Stiklestad private archive

NTNU University Library holds more than 500 private archives in the Gunnerus and Dora library. The archives are free to use and open to everyone visiting our reading rooms, but in some exceptional cases subject to access restrictions. Our collection consists mainly of archives reflecting the history of culture and science. Many of our archives come from members of the academic staff at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and its predecessors, for example the archives of Nobel laureate Lars Onsager, architect Sverre Pedersen, and the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters. The latter two are included in Norway's document heritage.
