Travel to Trondheim from the airport

By bus

Værnes Ekspressen - Unibuss Ekspress Direct route between Trondheim city center and Værnes, only 25 minutes from Solsiden to Værnes. By train

Several car retal companies operate at Trondheim Airport. All companies have desks in dedicated office close to parking facilities, to the right from arrival hall exit. More information at Avinor

Arriving by rail at Trondheim S

Located in the city center, Trondheim S is the main railwaistation servicing Trondheim. It is the terminus of Doverbanen going south, and Nordlandsbanen going north. Trains from Oslo arrive five times per day (including one nighttrain). Most hotels are within walking distance from the train station. Taxis are available outside the station exit.
