Join our Anniversary Conference!

In the fall of 2026 it will be ten years since two centers at NTNU and Nord University received status as centers of excellence in education: SFU Engage - Center for Excellence in Education through Entrepreneurship and SFU Excited - Center for Excellence in IT Education. Through the SFU program, both centers have achieved significant results within their fields of study. We will mark this with a joint anniversary conference.

When: Thu. 5 Nov. - Fri. 6 Nov. 2026
Where: Radisson Blu Royal Garden, Trondheim (Day 1); NTNU Gløshaugen, IT-building, room 454 (Day 2)
Language: Norwegian and English

The conference aims to highlight key milestones and experiences from the centers. Also it will look ahead to how NTNU and Nord University can further develop their work within entrepreneurship and IT education. The anniversary event opens with an official celebration on 5 November at 10:00 -12:00, with presentations from the rectors at both universities, center leaders, and selected partners. After lunch, the conference continues with activities in the common area and parallel sessions within the centers' respective areas. On Day 2, there will be guest lectures at NTNU Gløshaugen, room 454.
