Hans Kristian Olsen Granli - Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), has developed his thesis at the NTNU Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in collaboration with NTNU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU Faculty of Engineering within the framework of research project HELIOS.

Malin Bergset and Astrid Seland - Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), have developed their theses at the NTNU Faculty of Natural Sciences in collaboration with NTNU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTNU Faculty of Engineering within the framework of research collaboration between the NTNU Department of Geography Supervisor Jan Ketil Rød VR Learn and HELIOS Co-supervisors Tahmineh Akbarinejad Gabriele Lobaccaro Matteo Formolli.

Malin Bergset's thesis is focused on Assessing the Feasibility of Implementing of Ground- Mounted Photovoltaics in Combination with Agriculture at High Latitudes through a GIS-Based Multi-Parameter Analysis using Oppdal, Norway as a case study area.

Astrid Seland's thesis develops a GIS method to Assessing solar energy potential for cabins in high latitudes in Oppdal area, Norway.

The topics have been selected from a rose of thematic areas in collaboration with Nasjonalparken Næringshage.
