Op-ed writing course, DIGITAL, 27-28 April 2021

– How to place your own research in the public debate?

The Norwegian Research School of Global Health has the pleasure of inviting you to a writing workshop co-arranged with one of Norway’s leading newspapers, Aftenposten.

  • How to reach a broad audience
  • How to communicate your research results
  • How to use your research to take part in the public debate
  • How the debate sections in the biggest newspaper work and how they choose which contributions to publish

Purpose

The course focuses on writing op-eds and other debate articles

Preparations

The course participants will submit a draft op-ed piece (4000-6000 characters) ten days before the course. The participants will receive feedback on the texts during the course. Our goal is that every participant will end up with a published text.
