2024 Øyvind Skaaden The Norwegian space industry association (NIFRO) best master thesis award, for the thesis "System Integration of the HYPSO-2 SDR: Enabling Fault-Tolerant Payload Operations and an Efficient Development Environment". Article from NIFRO. Supervisors were Milica Orlandic and Roger Birkeland.
2022 Marie Bøe Henriksen Early Career Researcher Award Issued by SIOS - Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System for the presentation "HYPSO-1 CubeSat with hyperspectral imager over Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard"
2022 Marie Bøe Henriksen Outstanding Paper Award, issued by WHISPERS Organizing Committee at the at the 12th Workshop on Hyperspectral Image and Signal Processing: Evolution in Remote Sensing (WHISPERS) in Rome, Italy for the paper "A Closer Look at a Spectrographic Wavelength Calibration"
2021 Ole Martin Borge The Norwegian space industry association (NIFRO) best master thesis award, for the thesis "Atmospheric Correction over Coastal Waters Based on Machine Learning Models". News article/blog-post. Supervisors were Patric Espy and Sivert Bakken.
