Scholarships


Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus CoMEM+ scholarships 

All students that apply for admission to the programme will automatically be considered for a scholarship. Since there are limited amount of scholarships, not all students who are admitted to the programme will be awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. 

Please note that students admitted to the programme who do not receive a scholarship will need to document their finances in accordance with Visa regulations.  This documentation must be uploaded along with your other documents within the deadline in order to be considered.

Scholarships

Applications are submitted after arrival through the Office of International Relations at NTNU. 

The Erasmus+ programme offers student loans. Read about the Erasmus+ Master Degree Loans.

Visiting Faculty Scholarships are available for scholars (academics and/or professionals with outstanding experience) who carry out teaching and/or research assignments and scholarly work within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management (CoMEM+) programme.

The CoMEM+ board is offering short-term scholarships to carry out teaching and research activities at one of the partner institutions in the context of the joint programme. The CoMEM+ Board invites interested scholars to submit an application consisting of a CV, a research and educational profile, a letter of motivation and priority of university/universities to be visited and to which Track(s) you may wish to contribute to. Scholarship amounts

The contribution to subsistence and travel costs depend on the length of the visit and the distance of the travel.

Scholarship awardees

  • Commit themselves to actively participate in the masters course activities.);
  • Perform teaching/research/student tutoring activities.);
  • Bring concrete added value to the course and students (through teaching of specific classes, leading and participating in seminars or workshops, monitoring and tutoring student research/project activities, participating in thesis reviews, preparing new teaching modules, etc.);
  • Contribute, after their visiting scholar activities, to the promotion and dissemination of the Erasmus Mundus Programme in general, and the EMMC concerned in particular, in their own University and country of origin.
