9 - 12 September 2012
Organized by NTNU in Trondheim, Norway
On behalf of NTNU we invite you to participate in the 6th Kyoto International Forum for Energy and Environment (KIFEE) Symposium to be held in Trondheim, Norway on September 9 - 12 , 2012. The symposium is a continuation of the KIFEE symposia arranged in Japan and Norway; the latest in Kyoto, Japan in March, 2011.
The KIFEE symposium will again provide a forum for material scientists and process engineers to discuss and exchange recent advances in the fields of environment, energy, materials and education in these areas.
The KIFEE Symposium is an important strategic event for NTNU, and we would like to have many participants in the plenary strategic sessions and also in the workshops. In the previous symposia there were around 40 participants from the visiting country and around 100 participants from the host country. We are aiming for similar numbers in this year's symposium.

Kyoto International Forum for Environment and Energy (KIFEE)
KIFEE was originally created by the universities in the Kyoto region to develop an international arena for strategic cooperation between universities working to develop a sustainable society, inspired by the Kyoto Protocol.
When the Bilateral Agreement on Technological Cooperation between Japan and Norway was signed in May 2004, there was a desire to build up a long-term research cooperation that could serve as a basis for industrial cooperation. Read more about the history of KIFEE...
