Course content
GEOG8509 builds on the masters course GEOG3509. Candidates who have not taken this foundation course should attend the GEOG 3509 lectures and read the course literature.
As in GEOG3509 this course studies central themes in physical geography research theory and method. The main theme varies from year to year, depending on the Departments current research activities and prevalent theoretical issues.
GEOG8509 is a reading course and the reading list will be decided upon individually. The paper can be handed in, in either English or Norwegian.
Learning outcome
The course aims at providing candidates with high competence on central themes in physical geography research theory and method.
