About
About the course
Course content
The course first introduces analytic geometry and parametric curves. Later on, Taylors formula, improper integrals, infinite series, and uniform convergence are treated. In addition, the course contains certain aspects of numerical mathematics; topics treated are Newtons method and numerical integration, and differential equations. Emphasize is made on rigour.
Learning outcome
The aim of this course is to introduce theory and methods for conics, parametric curves, infinite series and ordinary differential equations. Also some numerical aspects will be included.
