On 1 January 2026, the former Development and Governance Division and the Financial Division merged to form the Governance, Finance and Security Division.

This is an interim website for the new division, which will be formally established on 1 January 2027.

The Governance, Finance and Security Division is responsible for strategic governance and financial administration at NTNU. The division supports coherent processes, safe and efficient operations, and future-oriented solutions in line with NTNU’s strategy.

Our goal is to be a competent and reliable partner that provides NTNU with a solid foundation for governance, financial management and development.

Main responsibilities

The division is responsible for, among other things, development, governance and compliance at NTNU.

Organization

The division currently consists of six sections and a specialist group for strategic financial management. The Division Director is supported by a management support team that provides strategic advice and communication support.
