Research focus

AquaRisk 2025-2029

The project is organized into four interconnected research focuses that collectively support its overarching purpose: to improve decision-making by integrating considerations of profitability and environmental sustainability under uncertainty. These focuses include the modeling and quantification of relevant risks, the assessment of environmental impacts across the value chain, the development of decision-support tools for strategic and operational planning, and the translation of research insights into practical guidance. Together, they provide a comprehensive foundation for promoting resilient and sustainable development in the sector.
